A grant opportunity for spine research in Middle East and Northern Africa

The AO Spine Research Commission is pleased to announce the 2024 AO Spine Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) Research Award. This grant opportunity supports and encourages scientists and clinicians in the field of spine research who are practicing and residing in the MENA region to conduct spine research relevant and unique to the MENA region.

The aim is to encourage scientists and clinicians who have a desire to perform high-quality, clinical multicenter spine research to engage in research that will develop or eventually lead to the development of a research network that will conduct multicenter studies not only relevant to the MENA region but have worldwide impact.

One award up to CHF 30,000 for the maximum duration of two years will be granted. This invitation for proposals is open to AO Spine members from the MENA region.

Successful applicants are encouraged to present their research findings at the Global Spine Congress and to submit their work for publication in the Global Spine Journal.
