myAO’s new Event Live Page takes event engagement to the next level

With its new Event Live Page, launched in June 2023, myAO takes engagement to the next level by making it easier than ever to interact directly with expert AO faculty before and during events.

With the myAO Event Live Page, which offers both private and group settings, event participants can receive preparatory reading material, event information, updates, and clinical cases shared by AO faculty . In a group setting, for example, event participants can engage in pre-course warm-up activities and get a taste of the legendary AO spirit in an informal setting where they can share ideas and build new relationships.

Additionally, the Event Live Page gives AO faculty a single platform for event preparation and effectively communicating with one another and event participants—without e-mail or text messaging. All of the information exchanged is stored in one place; participants and faculty are automatically invited to join the page once they have confirmed attendance at an event .

All information and discussion shared on the Event Live Page is available on myAO for twelve months before a course and for 24 months after the event’s conclusion. The course experience is enriched by myAO secure chat, which makes it possible for participants and faculty to interact both privately and in a group setting.
