Trauma
The longstanding cooperation between the AO Technical Commission and DePuy Synthes has resulted in the development of numerous implants and instruments to address specific clinical problems. Over the past decade, this joint work has delivered over 200 innovative solutions, each of which makes a contribution to improving patient care and outcomes in the treatment of trauma and musculoskeletal disorders.
The AO Technical Commission occasionally collaborates with other industrial partners on "off-ramp" projects to address specific unmet clinical needs. The first "off ramp" projects received AO approval in 2022.
